What is Strength Training? It is using a type of resistance; your own body weight, dumbbells, resistance bands, etc. to create muscular contraction which in return, if done on consistent basis, will create STRENGTH in your muscles!
WHY should you do strength training? There are numerous benefits for strength training; more calories burned, reduce body fat, protects bone health, (as we age we lose muscle mass), gain strength to do everyday functional activities… Sounds like a win-win to me!
