But let’s be real, most of us don’t have time for luxurious naps, but you probably have five minutes to STOP, and take a deep cleansing breath.  As your breathing in think about all the stress you want to release with that big loud exhale.  Do this several times and you will feel more relaxed and less stressed.

How to practice deep breathing

  1. Sit comfortably with your back straight. …
  2. Breathe in through your nose. …
  3. Exhale through your mouth, pushing out as much air as you can while contracting your abdominal muscles. …
  4. Continue to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
